A THOUGHT IN PASSING - Liberals are fond of saying that they are the ones who are concerned for the environment, and that conservatives aren't. Right? Well, in 1993 Rush Limbaugh, in an effort to help a listener earn enough to subscribe to his newsletter suggested the listener hold a bake sale. That suggestion eventually ballooned into what eventually became known as "Dan's Bake Sale," in Fort Collins, Colorado, and was attended by about 70,000 people. When it was over the Fort Collins Sanitation Department had nothing to do. The Conservatives had cleaned up after themselves and the Sanitation Department noted that the site was cleaner than it was before the event began. Similar occurrences have happened at other conservative events.
